Jacob Strong and Jonathan Steltzer

Jake and Jon lead NBS Ventures’ real estate and development operations across all regions. In 2016, they founded NBS Real Estate in Lynchburg, Virginia, which has since grown into a vertically integrated powerhouse with over $100 million in assets under management. NBS specializes in single-family residential development and value-add multifamily projects. As one of the dominant operators in southwest Virginia, NBS has a deep network in the greater Lynchburg, Danville, and Martinsville areas.

Austin Tatom

Austin oversees land acquisition, capital raising, and investor relations at NBS Ventures. With a background as a commercial real estate attorney, he brings experience in acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and leasing across various real estate asset classes. Austin has advised clients ranging from small operators to Fortune 50 companies, equipping him with expertise to navigate complex transactions and investment strategies. Austin earned his JD with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law and a BS in finance from the University of Utah.
